AS 4264.1 - 2009 sets out procedures for the sampling of coal from stationary situations and moving streams for the determination of total moisture and yield.

The SAMPLE SCOOP is a stainless steel device used to manually cut a slurry sample from the coal flotation circuit. This enables ash content to be analysed and so yield can be calculated.

Sample scoops are used in all mineral processing applications to capture live samples for detailed analysis.

The above scoop has a volume of 1.7 litres and with a removable handle makes it an easily transportable piece of testing equipment. The scoops are designed to requested volumes.
