CIP: Cleaning In Place: for high scale processes
In many applications scaling is an inherent part of the production process, which may result in rapid contamination of the setting cylinder and turbidity probe. This may require the removal of the cylinder and the probe for manual cleaning.
CIP: CLEANING IN PLACE is a technique where a cleaning additive is used with the normal flushing water to automatically remove scale build up, and so eliminate the need for manual cleaning.
A chemical additive is stored in a tank and applied to the flushing water by a metering pump. For enviromentlal compliance the tank is mounted on a spill pallet. There are several cleaning sequences available which are selectable though the CLAROMETER touch screen.
CIP is a standard option for the Clarometer PRO which is pre-wired to accept the CIP feature.
The CIP option does not replace the Clean Services unit which is a standard feature for the Clarometer PRO.
