BED CONTROL MODULE: BCM, is an easy system addition to provide automatic bed level control to a thickener. With its unique dual operating modes it will optimise flocc usage and maintain a stable bed level. The BCM accepts an analogue input from any bed level device and produces an analogue signal to automatically control the flocc pump. |

All configuration, calibration and control is done through an operator touch screen. The BCM has the same PLC and screen used in all other Clarometer products. The BCM has multiple configuration options which enables it to be tailored for each application. All configuration and set up changes are done by site personel. The BCM has been designed as an independent piece of equipment requiring no external support. |

The BCM is mounted in a light weight polycarbonate enclosure. It could be installed in the switch room, control room or on the thickener. Installation simply requires an AC or DC supply and a bed level signal. The pump speed signal is then connected to the plant DCS or directly to the flocc pump VSD. |
